Joyce Yin - graduated from the University of California San Diego with a degree in music and recently completed her Masters in Education while working full-time. She began private studies with Enrique Toral in 2010 and has since won the Audience Choice Award at the 2010 San Diego District Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, placed second in the 2010 NATS Students Auditions, and placed second in the 2011 San Diego Choral Club Scholarship Auditions.

Recent performances include San Diego Opera's Turandot, Moonlight Stage Production's Miss Saigon, and numerous concerts with La Jolla Symphony and Chorus, including the Chamber Choir's tour of Ireland as a scholarship recipient. This summer, Joyce will be singing Bellini, Hoiby, and Mozart in San Francisco through the Bay Area Summer Opera Theater Institute.

Joyce has accepted choral and opera scholarships in addition to a teaching assistantship at Arizona State University. There she will pursue a Masters in Opera Theater and Vocal Pedagogy under the tutelage of Carole FitzPatrick.
